Ever since I can remember I’ve had dry skin, which gets even worse during winter months. Spending a lot of time indoors with the radiators blasting sure does skin some damage. Sometimes, I also have white scales – usually on the lower part of my legs and sometimes on my upper arms.
Having said that, I have to admit that I cannot stand having creams and lotions on me because they usually feel greasy or sticky – the pyjama just seems to stick to you, and it doesn’t matter whether it is -20 or +30 degrees Celsius outside. This is also one of the reason I don’t wear make-up.
Luckily, I have found a cream that leaves my skin healthy, fresh, and light. It’s by Nivea and it can be used on your face, body, and hands.
It absorbs in pretty quickly, so sometimes I put it on twice before going to bed. I have noticed a great improvement on my upper arms; they feel really soft. I must admit, though, that it is still a bit too greasy for my face – I have mixed-type skin so if I put something that is good for my dry areas, it’s too much for my oily areas. I’ve only recently started putting it on my face (a really thin layer) so let’s see how it affects my skin.
