Week in review

Fact of the week:

  • Sherlock is addictive, and I am talking about this one. The imdb rating speak for themselves.

Quote of the week:

  • Life is a series of experiences, each of which makes us bigger, even though it is hard to realize this.  For the world was built to develop character, and we must learn that the setbacks and grief which we endure help us in our marching onward. by Henry Ford

Photo of the week:

  • Can you name the famous bands represented by the following pictures? Let me help you – the first one is Guns N’ Roses.

Articles of the week:

  • Whenever I travelled by plane, I did it with a budget airline where you don’t get any food during the flight unless you buy it (and it is usually sandwiches, salty snacks or sweets) so it is nice to see what different airlines have to offer. Now, if you can afford , then you can expect these. Honestly, some food offered for economy class looks tastier. 😛 😉 😀
  • Now these are some clever drawings.

Activities of the week:

  • ONE WEEK OFF! 😀 It started with me falling asleep on Friday afternoon as I was that exhausted. And just because I have a week off, it didn’t stop me from working yesterday and today – exams need to be typed.
  • It’s got a lot cooler and the wind has turned cold so it’s really a challenge to stay outside for a long period of time, but that didn’t stop me from going on a 3 hour walk/hike with a friend and her mother. We just had to make the most of the last day before we switched to winter time (moving the clock back for one hour). I definitely prefer the summer time, even though the winter time is the correct one, as you can get most of the day. I really hate coming home from work in darkness, and if we have foggy days it is even worse as you don’t get to see the sun for a long time. I remember that a few years ago it was almost a month without a single ray of sun in my town.
Already missing this.

Already missing this.

  • As we were on our way we saw this little beauty. I’m guessing it belongs to the nearby house as they have quite a few cats, but it did strike me as odd that it was really hungry. Luckily, my friend’s mum had some dog food with her because she wanted to give it to a dog that always accompanies her on her walks.

A lovely kitten.

  • If you eat this potato, love will come your way! 😀 So I ate it. 😛
A heart-shaped potato.

Song of the week:

  • This week it is All about that Base by Meghan Trainor.
