Product Review: Proorganika’s Indy & Pippa (dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free) Ice Cream

It’s time for another review, this time it is a review of ice cream. I first heard about Proorganika’s Indy & Pippa Ice Cream on Facebook and immediately became intrigued by it, mainly because it is dairy-free, soy-free, and it contains NO refined sugar. It will also be gluten-free – as soon as they move the production into a separate hall.

The flavours that they offer are chocolate, hazelnut, blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry. They come in 2 different sizes: 115 ml (which would equal a very large scoop or two smaller ones) and 350 ml.

The flavour that got my taste buds going was hazelnut so I bought one small packet. The ice cream is quite hard so you need to leave it at room temperature for some time before you can actually try it, that is why I would suggest buying small packets if you are the only one who is going to eat it because you are not supposed to re-frost a defrosted ice cream. Now, let’s get to the taste: very hazelnutty which I really liked, it tasted like a dairy ice cream so it would also get great reviews by those who have no problems with dairy. Definitely a must-buy!
